One of our favorite things to do on our traveling adventures is to drive on the scenic byways here in Florida. We are lucky that we have two byways near our Stuart location.  

One of our favorite leisure rides is a byway about 15 minutes from our Florida Outdoors RV Center in Stuart. it is the Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway.  The byway goes from Jensen Beach, Florida up to Cape Canaveral.  You will enjoy turquoise water views on this scenic drive. Nice steady pace of 25 miles per hour you will drive through a couple little towns.  One of which is called Eden.  One thing you don't want to miss on this drive is the ancient Native American burial ground it is called  Old Fort Park It is a majestic park filled with oak trees with moss hanging down from the trees.  Stand in the middle of the expansive trees in the stillness only nature can give you it takes all your stress away.  The tiled park benches are perfect to relax and enjoy all the beauty that will surround you at the park.

You can walk the stairs up the Indian Burial ground, it is an experience If you are interested in the history of Florida and the Native Americans that first settled here in South Florida

If you take that scenic highway all the way up to Titusville you can camp in the Titusville/Kennedy Space Center KOA.
